International Relations and Foreign Trade Directorate

The Directorate operates with the aim of representing the Chamber before foreign countries and international organizations, managing membership processes related to international institutions, enhancing the global competitiveness of member companies, and developing their export potential.

The Directorate consists of two coordinatorships operating in the fields of international relations and foreign trade.

International Relations Coordinatorship

• Coordinating relations with embassies and international organizations; collecting information regarding relevant international institutions; carrying out membership procedures; and representing the Chamber within affiliated organizations

• Identifying and implementing activities aimed at attracting foreign direct investment to the region

• Monitoring investments made by member companies abroad; preparing foreign direct investment strategies for target countries; and developing cooperation opportunities among production facilities established abroad by members

• Preparing periodic reports on international economic and political trends

• Organizing the Ambassadors Reception

• Developing projects within its field of activity and supporting international projects prepared and conducted by other units of the Chamber

• Organizing international delegation visits

• Publishing member announcements related to its field of responsibility

• Performing other duties assigned by the Secretary General

Foreign Trade Coordinatorship

• Systematically analyzing foreign trade data and reporting information on market trends, demand tendencies, and competitiveness

• Coordinating participation of member companies and Chamber management in international business visits and trade fair organizations

• Coordinating domestic and international trade fair organizations

• Conducting competitive analyses regarding foreign target markets, including competitors, market shares, consumer preferences, and market trends

• Carrying out activities aimed at increasing the export capacities of members and identifying the export potential of non-exporting members

• Providing consultancy services on foreign trade financing, payments, logistics, and risk management, particularly assisting SME-scale member companies in conducting foreign trade operations securely and efficiently

• Developing and implementing projects and programs aimed at improving foreign trade, increasing competitiveness, and enhancing market diversification for the benefit of members

• Managing and coordinating the activities of the Export Support Office and the Foreign Trade Intelligence Center and improving operations in these areas

• Publishing member announcements related to its field of responsibility and trade fairs

• Performing other duties assigned by the Secretary General
